A mismatched thumb will result in damage to your backhoe, as larger backhoes have more bucket force. For example, if you mount a 25-inch thumb on a hoe that requires a 31-inch thumb, you will probably bend or break your equipment. Excellent product for diy person it fit my Arps 90 backhoe perfect! I have used it for moving & cutting firewood since I installed it, should have had one years ago! You must be able to weld for assembly & installation, that’s exactly what I was looking for!

Heavy Duty and well cut out
We were a bit surprised at the amount of welding that had to be done. The unit had to be welded together in all respects then welded to the equipment. We initially thought we would have had to only weld it to the machine. It comes in all dia-cut parts. They were clean and accurate cuts so it went together very well.

Heavy and with one exception well made.
It really would have helped to have better instructions, particularly in folding the thumb when not in use. The pieces were all accurately cut, and required some work to assemble. The holes on the brace piece had to be cleaned up, 1' bit. Overall a good purchase. Should do the job

Very pleased with the brute thickness of the metal. Have it all cleaned up and waiting for time to weld it into place! Getting it unassembled is great if you need to modify it to fit, not having to cut it apart for the modifications! Thanks!
