Tractor trailer hitch receiver gooseneck

Gooseneck ball was loose, and there is no way to get to the nut. I would have expected the ball and/or nut to be welded in place, but apparently not. I was able to get the ball tight. I had to drill out the clevis hole in one of the hitch pins in order to get the clevis pin through the hole. Besides that, I am satisfied with the hitch. Update: I had the 2 5/16 ball welded on. Should have been like that originally.

I had a 36” spear but the round bale feeder I am using is to narrow for my bucket and I couldn’t set it in as far as I wanted. This spear works perfect for me.
