The extra-wide opening of these clamshell-style grapples makes pushing and gripping large loads easy. This root grapple is specifically designed for Bobcat loaders with a Universal Skid Steer Hookup. The implement includes twin 3,000 PSI cylinders, greaseable pins, bushings, hoses, and flat-faced couplers. The Root Grapple Rake is an excellent landscaping tool, providing a superior and more efficient way to topple dead trees, dig up roots, and remove brush and other odd-shaped or hard-to-lift material.

The rake is really nice. My only concern was what to do with the hydraulic lines. As you can see in the photo. To resolve the hydraulic line issue, I took a bungee and a cut off piece of hose. Running the bungee through the hose over the hydraulicI line and back down through, connecting it to the rake on both ends It's an old ATV break line trick.

Been using this rake grapple to clear a few acres of forrest. Using a 46hp skid steer. It has been excellent - very strong, durable and has been invaluable in moving trees, grabbing large bunches of branches, etc. I was debating between the rake and a bucket grapple. Glad I chose this one.

I have purchased other attachments for my Kioti tractor from Titan and was completely satisfied with product quality, construction and price. This grapple did not disappoint me at all. The speed of delivery and the attention to detail in shipping was exceptional. I had to increase the rear ballast with 300 pounds of suitcase weights to offset the weight of the grapple on the front of the tractor. It works great handling brush and trees as well as concrete slabs as large as 4' x 4'! I did have to change out the flat face connectors for the Pioneer style I currently have on my tractor. It would be nice to allow the customer to request the fit to their tractor or skid steer. This grapple is so ruggedly constructed that with proper maintenance and care will be almost indestructible. Other products on the market that I have seen don't come near the quality and customer service as I have experienced with Titan.

I would love to give this grapple 5 stars. This thing is built much stronger than the equivalent land pride attachment. Yes it is heavy but you can work it hard, the hydraulics are strong on it. A word of caution, it does have the roller type hydraulic connectors, so be ready if you have to change them like I did to fit my Kubota. I am very happy with my purchase overall and would highly recommend it to anyone but the reason I have to drop one star is because of the quick attach pin holes. I have had to weld some metal shims in the holes to tighten it up against the pins. Otherwise, when dozing, it pops off very easily. The grapple looks mean and is mean. It’s almost perfect and the best value you could get.

Strong, heavy duty, it should less long while. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is, It doesn't have "stops" to limit movement of Grapple at "open-close" position to protect hydraulic cylinders, and bottom pin at Hydroulic pistons have no grease fittings ( Zirks). Shipping was total disaster. (time wise ) I end up picking it up from last warehouse before final delivery on my own....Only 1 hr a way from my location. I have slight use out of it so far. Works good. How ever I have to work on my skills to perfect it. Overall, Good product! I would buy it again! I would recommend it to my good friend !

The grapple was packaged very nice on a steel crate. It’s fits my Kubota SVL 65-2 perfectly. It looks like a nice unit. The hose is annoying. If you extend your grapple back too far it puts a lot of bending pressure on the hoses....so I have to watch it. I bent one of the Lower tines after 5 minutes of use after hitting a small rock. Fluke or bad steel? Also my grapple was missing one of the grease fittings at one the pivot points....annoying after spending close to 2k. I’ll update after more use.

Overall the grapple rake was well built. One design flaw related to my skid steer. The flex hoses connect near the bottom and are not constrained. As the grapple is rotated flat, the flex hoses are very susceptible of getting pinched/cut when rotating the grapple back to a vertical position. I solved this by fabricating a small box near the top center of the attachment for the hoses to route through and attached a spring. Overall a nice attachment once I solved the flex hose movement.
