The 48-inch Flail Mower with Hydraulic Side Shift is designed to make easy work of maintaining vegetation such as grass, heavy undergrowth, and tree prunings. With the ability to slide 8" in either direction (left or right), this flail mower makes those hard-to-reach areas an easy cut! This attachment is compatible with Category 1 tractors, loaders, and skid steers. It has a 3 Point hitch, which makes for a quick and simple installation. For best results, we recommend using a tractor with a minimum of 30 HP and a maximum of 40 HP. It is powered by a PTO shaft with a heavy-duty gearbox that turns the knife shaft, cutting the mowed material down to a minimum, which allows it to decompose quickly. We use forged hammer flails to ensure that perfect mowing, even when facing undergrowth and bushes. Even in rough terrain, the heavy roller in the back assists in smooth performance. This Flail Mower is perfect for maintaining your fields, orchards, vineyards, and other farm properties.

Everything I have order from titan seems to be build very well and this flair mower I don’t need yet because grass and weeds have not grown so I have not even open up the freight crate it has came in so I can’t say great or bad but my guess it’s good like the rest.. rototillers great and backhoe attachment great along with set of forks and 72 inch root grapple great 👍🏻

The mower appears to be very well built. Assembly was somewhat challenging but between a chainfall & tractor loader I was able to complete it. There is an area on the rear where the top link assembly wore off the paint and left gouges in the metal during transit, but otherwise it was well packaged. One of the hydraulic hoses was too short to reach the tractor coupling so I had to get an extension made for it. Due to heavy rains over the last 2 months I am unable to mow the area I purchased it for. Hoping to get things dried out before the snow flies!

I have bought 3 of these flail mowers and they work very well on our small vineyard. I would recommend these flails for medium use 1-60 acres. They work well on black berries, vineyard/ Orchard canes. They are. It built heavy duty or preform like a Perfect, Rears or Verizon flail but for a small farmer are perfect and priced accordingly. We are very happy with these units!

I ordered a 6' mower for my Kubota MX5200 tractor in May 2022. Delivery was quick and it arrived in good shape, although the shipping crate was banged up badly. Assembly instructions were in the bottom of the crate and all hardware was present. Assembly required an overhead hoist - this is a rugged piece of equipment. I had a few problems during assembly and the test run. First, the operator’s manual was missing. You have to download it from the website, which I initially failed to do. The operator’s manual contains vital information on filling the gearbox. I had to drain oil out of the gearbox as all indications were that the gearbox was to be filled completely. This seemed odd to me, but I caught it in time before I damaged the gearbox. Second, the zerk fittings are tiny for such a large implement. They are also brass, which makes them even more delicate. I broke one off just putting the grease gun on it. Third, there was a burr in the cross-drilled slot of the spline on the tractor end of the pto drive shaft connector, preventing the connector from fully sliding onto the shaft. I fought with this for about half an hour before I figured out what was going on. I had to disassemble the connector to rectify the problem and get the shaft onto the pto. Fourth, the shear pin of the pto shaft fell out when I first started the mower up. That was a bit exciting. Finally, the skids on the bottom of the flail are too small. They sank right into the soil where I tested the mower out, resulting in a pretty short crew cut on that pass. This may be operator’s error, but it seems to me that the skids should support the weight of the mower. I also had some difficulties hooking up the mower to my Cat II hitch. Fortunately, there are three positions for the lower hitch pins: I moved the Cat I pins to the upper holes and installed Cat II pins in the lower holes. It works fine now. I resolved all these problems pretty quickly and am now using the mower to clear grass and brush from a field and logging roads. It is quite impressive and does a great job. Worth the effort of resolving the minor problems outlined above.
