Exactly what I needed.

I made the mistake of ordering a cheaper box from another site. Then I was informed that it would take THREE WEEKS for me to get it. Really??? I guess they had to put it on the boat and hope for the best... I ordered this box from Titan (my third purchase from them), and was informed about every step of the process--as usual. It only took five days to arrive. This box is very well made, and quite sturdy. It will save me the trouble of attaching my bush hog for use as ballast. It costs a few dollars more than the other one, but I firmly believe that it was worth it. Simple to install the hitch pins and connect to the tractor initially, but I totally recommend placing it on flat, level ground to reattach if you don't plan on emptying it after filling it with ballast material. It will obviously be heavy and more difficult to maneuver. But as tractor owners, we're used to that, right? :) Titan has yet to let me down, so I guess they're stuck with me...

Works great, support needs work

I received my box, and the packaging was pitiful; it was poor cardboard and plastic wrapped, every corner was ripped open, and the box was scraped or dented in multiple areas. I contacted support and even sent a video of the poor presentation when it arrived; I asked for a discount on the purchase and some touchup paint to stop it from rusting since multiple areas were down to the steel. The box works exactly what I wanted, but I must repaint it when delivered. The price should be pristine, and the quality of the cardboard should be thick enough to protect the corners and the box from shipping. There were no styrofoam corners, not even extra cardboard on the corners. Support offered an email with a 5% discount on any other item I ordered. I'm not jumping on that if I must repaint everything to keep it from rusting.

Wonderful Company - Good Equipment

Not only was this reasonably priced, but it was delivered quite promptly. When I contacted the company about registration, I mentioned some very minor issues (rust). The customer service representative immediately took it upon himself to inquire further. He then worked to get me a partial refund for the product. I was very impressed. The only negative thing I would say is, if you plan to use sand (or similar material) to add weight to the item, don't! The sliding door does NOT close all the way (without some personal modifications), and your material will 100% leak out of the sliding door.

Just what I needed

I got a front end loader and haven't purchased any rear implements yet. I know that I needed some additional rear ballast and this item easily checks that box. I loaded it with some bricks and the box has held up well. It appears to be made from quality material and I like the tool holders to store my rake and shovel for easy access. I had it on my tractor within 5 mins after opening the box. If your looking for some additional ballast weight, I would recommend this product.

Great little companion for my tractor

Great construction to this little ballast box. I loaded it with sand bags and loaded my bucket with cement and it worked out great. With the tubes to hold my shovel and hoe I could keep everything toogether while I poured a pad for my pool equipment. Should get many years of use out of this attachment. Missed one star due to the cardboard surrounding the box being damaged and the bottom of the box being scratched - needs better protection during transport.

Well built

Box arrived on time and well packaged. All the welds look good and I expect it to last as long as I do. I was able to fit 9, 60# bags of cement in it so total ballast is in the neighborhood of 660#, counting the weight of the box which I think is around 120#. I don’t expect I’ll ever have to, but I’d buy again. I’m using it on a JD 2032R. It has no trouble lifting it and really does make it a lot more stable. Get some ballast!

Well Made and thought out.

If you use a quick hitch you will have to move the top hook down a couple of notches. The draw bar attachment actually came with a pin for the draw bar, nice touch. I filled it with sand and it is heavy. I do not have a way to weigh it, but I'm sure it will come in handy. Already moved a trailer around my yard with it and no problems. I bought a furniture dolly to sit it on so I can roll it out of the way when not needed.

Good, but?

The ballast box works fine. However, it has delivered with one of the attachments to a 3 point hitch bent. I had to heat and bend it back into place before it was useful. So even though, Titan pestered me constantly about writing a review, I have yet to ever hear from them about my problem with the attachment. Sounds like the marketing department is more effective than their service department.
