Heavy Duty Mower

Arrived on time, plastic guard where pto connects to mower was torn and bent like something had been stacked on top of it. Love how it mows, very heavy and mows cleanly. FYI, tighten all blades before starting to mow otherwise will wiggle loose, no problems after tightening. Assembly instructions leave a bit to be desired. Overall really like this mower, better built than others that cost several hundred more dollars. Would recommend this mower.

We had been debating on getting one. We have 6 acres and already had a John Deer tractor. Was doing it all with Bad Boy zero my wife and I. Now she does 2 acres around the house. Awesome mower

This mower was a game changer when mowing my grass because I had a land pride side discharge that was a nice finish mower but it would always bog down and clump the grass In rows but this rear discharge mower just lays it flat right behind you and it's really quiet.

Mower performed pretty well for cutting fallen leaves, I believe an optional blocking deflector to allow for more mulch cuts would be a major plus. Shipping crate was substantial and served as the assembly platform. Photo below.

After I figured out how to put everything together, I was pleased with how the piece of equipment was made! The instructions were very vague. I would also suggest that you put a quart of 90 weight gear oil in the crate!

Best bang for the buck!

Overall, I’m impressed with the Titan 72" finish mower—especially for the price point. It feels solid, cuts clean, and pairs well with my Kubota L3902 using a quick hitch. The PTO shaft was plenty long and adjustable, which made hookup straightforward. That said, there were a few bumps worth mentioning. My mower arrived in a large crate, but even inside the crate the PTO shaft had been resting directly on the painted deck. This caused a 2–3 inch scratch down to bare metal. Nothing structural, but definitely something that will rust if I don’t paint over it—and finding the exact shade of Titan’s orange may prove tricky. Assembly was also a bit vague. The instructions weren’t very detailed, but if you’re mechanically inclined, you’ll get through it. Just know you’re expected to figure out some pieces on your own. A few tips for new owners: • Set it to the highest cutting height if you don’t want to scalp your lawn. Anything lower and you’ll definitely notice uneven spots. • Replace the lynch pins immediately. The stock pins are weak and fall out easily. Save yourself the frustration and head to Tractor Supply for heavy‑duty 7/16 x 1‑3/4" pins. • Add about a quart of 90W gear oil to the gearbox before operation (it does not come filled). • Grease every zerk fitting—there are several, and skipping them will shorten the mower’s life. Once set up right, the mower performs very well. It delivers a smooth cut, runs quietly, and handles thick grass without strain. For the cost, I think it’s a strong value—just expect to spend a little time fine‑tuning things after uncrating.
