Please measure your bucket before ordering to ensure a proper match. A mismatched thumb will result in damage to your backhoe, as larger backhoes have more bucket force. For example: if you mount a 25” thumb on a hoe that requires a 31” one, you will probably bend or break your equipment. Make sure that this thumb is at least the length of your bucket when measured from boom to the teeth or the warranty may voided if damage occurs.

Great addition to the tractor
I was unsure at first when I saw this item as cheap as it was. When it arrived, I was very happy with the strength and design, it was a very easy install, less than an hour and has been a great addition to my back hoe. The dealer wanted 5 times the price for their mechanical thumb and with a few upgrades I think I can make this hydraulic relatively easy. Excellent product.

24" Weld On Backhoe Thumb
Although it seems well made. you have to modify it in order to get it to"fold" out of the way, and, also make it to "lock" in the (out of the way) upright position. When I called and asked "How do I fold it up out of the way?" the answer I got was "When the unit is properly installed it DOES NOT fold out of the way" which is NOT TRUE.

24 inch weld on thumb
Well built thumb. But when you go to retract the jaw plate to the stow position the holes are about a half inch off. The old thumb I had would retract into the mount and you could pin it in that position with out taking the jaw plate off. Other wise I would give a five.

pros and cons
Super happy with the quality, works great. Not happy it didn't come with instructions. I feel like you should be able to pin it up out of the way when not in use but can't figure out how to do it. I would recommend this product.

Great product. The only addition
Great product. The only addition I would have liked is a way to pin it in the closed position. I use a bunny cord that works well enough but if the holes were better placed it would have been easy to pin it.

Works fine
Product is sturdy so far. Could use some installation and assembly instructions, even rudimentary ones. Have it welded on and it is standing up to the use of moving logs and rocks well. Packaging
