GOOD GRAPPLE

I will be honestly I did not expect such a well built grapple. It seems very strong and is almost to big for my John Deere 3032E. I will have to add weight to the rear to use it properly and safely. But I hooked it up and the hydrualics worked well. I think I will get many years of use out of it.

Due to muddy conditions, I haven’t been in the field very much. The equipment itself is very well made. If I were to do anything differently it would be to buy a lighter weight model as this one takes up a lot of the lifting capacity on a 2038r. Excellent workmanship and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

By appearance, the grapple seems sturdy and well made. Hopefully, it does its job. The service received from the seller during the transaction was less than stellar.

Very Sturdy, Easy Installation, Adequate Quality

I received the grapple very quickly, so shipping speed was excellent, even though it was a direct freight shipment. The steel crate it came in had some damage from the overseas shipping it appears, but fortunately no damage to the grapple. The grapple is a beast for the price. It is very sturdy and built with robust steel in all the right places. Right out of the crate it worked well, it was very easy to mount up to my John Deere 4052M. I would probably like it to be a little lighter in weight, but I wasn't willing to buy the economy grapple that appears to be quite a bit flimsier, so to cut weight and make it easier to maneuver, I bought the 60" instead of the 72". I would not recommend the 72" unless you have at least a 5 series JD tractor. The only complaints I have is that the welds are not great in some areas (visible porosity) and some of the vertical members are a little bit off of plumb, but I think that is typical of Chinese manufacturing nowadays. Unfortunately, you will not get this grapple for this price if it was made fully here in the U.S. The hydraulics (cylinders, fittings, hoses, routing) all appear to be of adequate quality so far, but time will tell. I do like the 1/2" Ag Style QDs for the hydraulic lines. They are of good quality, dont leak and come with covers to keep dirt out. They happened to match up perfectly with the 3rd function kit I recently installed for loader accessories on my tractor from Summit Hydraulics. Overall, I am pretty hard on my equipment and have a high standard for quality and I am satisfied with this grapple. The negative things that I see, I can live with, and they don't seem at this time to have any detrimental effect on performance or durability. Mostly aesthetic. I would recommend this grapple to others for purchase and already have. We have lots of Hurricane Helene clean up to do in my area and the grapple has already been beneficial in that regard.
