Excellent product made with heavy materials. My only complaint was that there were no guards to protect the hydraulic cylinder and connections. It could be difficult to see what you’re trying to grab especially when trying to pull bushes like autumn olive when the branches lay on the ground. Also worth noting, when I bought this product there was a push guard advertised as an option. The problem was that it only worked on the skidsteer models and not the hook and pin model. They were great about my returning it but charged a restock fee.

Easy to pull posts and small trees

This thing is kinda fun

Well, it is certainly simple and brutal! Been pulling up small trees and clearing lanes. You can also reach high and tear off low hanging limbs. Only one complaint and one suggestion. Complaint is you can't see when crawfish claw (that's what we call it) is close to the ground. You gotta kinda judge where you are going. Nothing can be done about that. The suggestion is that the pins holding the hydraulic cylinder really need some grease zerts. A very cheap but needed addition that I will likely get around to doing myself.

Pros……….. The Titan post and tree puller arrived in a metal cage wrapped in plastic well protected and secure. I cut the bands and lifted the tree puller out of the top of the metal cage, unwrapped the plastic and sat the puller on the floor. The unit is John Deere green and is well built. Hook and pin fit perfect. Cons……… *The Titan tree pullers hydraulic lines and fittings are (1/2 Hydraulic Quick Connect Pioneer Style Poppet Valve Couplers, 1/2” NPT Thread) that fit onto my 3025e John Deer’s 3rd function lines and connectors that are (1/4” Ag ISO 5675 Hydraulic Quick Connect Pioneer Style Poppet Valve Couplers, 1/4” NPT Thread). The Titan tree puller fittings were to big and needed the smaller ¼” fittings along with reducers (½ fnpt to ¼ mnpt reducers), these reduce the Titan hose ends that are ½” npt down to the smaller John Deere ¼” npt hose ends. *Once I installed the correct Hydraulic Quick Connect Pioneer Style Poppet Valve Couplers and reducers from AMAZON, I attached the Titan tree puller on to my 3025e John deere, connected the fittings, started the tractor, activated the 3rd funtion on the John Deere which operates the Titan tree puller. That’s when I seen their hose connector to the hydraulic cylinder fitting was extremely loose. Out of the 2 connecters on the hydraulic cylinder, the one was loose and the other was tight. Once I tightened the connecter and verified the other one was tight, the leak there was fixed. * The tree puller arrived by freight (Saia). Saia’s web site said residential with tailgate delivery. Other than updates via their web site, I had no Ideal exactly when or if they could deliver to and in my driveway. So, at some point, the web site did give a delivery time window but still not sure about driveway delivery, even though they said residential delivery. I left work early to be sure I was there for the earliest estimated delivery time. Delivery was on the street, and I used my tractor with pallet forks to get it off their semi tractor trailer to my pole barn 400ft away. It would be nice if the freight delivery driver would actually call me and give details about delivery and times! Amazon….. Hydraulic couplers

I'm sure this will do the job but the hose couplers were the next size up from what I have on my third function system. I'll get it taken care of but just be aware it's not plug n play on the smaller tractors.

Post and tree puller

The post and tree puller is the second Titan attachment I have purchased in 2024. Quit impressive quality attachments. I purchased pallet forks for a JD hook and pin in January. Very well built. The 2nd attachment a Tree and post puller for a JD hook and pin. It pulls 4"-5" diameter cedar trees quite easily. I mainly purchased to pull fence posts surrounding pastures so new fencing can be installed. The post puller certainly is much easier than a loader and chain per post! Great quality. Titan crated the attachment very safely and securely. The shipping company(Saia LTL Freight) was incredibly helpful meeting me at a location (my request) to unload versus travel country roads in raining weather.
