This heavy-duty tree grubber is designed to permanently remove unwanted trees, bushes, and shrubs by digging and tearing out the taproot. Removing them at the taproot prevents regrowth, leaving your land clear for years to come. The aggressive design of the Grubber eliminates the need to use hand tools to remove the trees and bushes and is constructed using 3/4" thick structural steel for the body and the cutting edge is made from AR400 steel. The open body gives plenty of visibility, allowing you to drive right up to the shrubs and align the v-wedge blade at the base. Simply dive the blade into the ground at the taproot, angle back and lift the unwanted trees and shrubs away.

The Titan Grubber attachment I purchased works very well, I must say. I’m a novice operating my track loader, but once I began experimenting with smaller mesquites and junipers, I go the hang of it quickly. The medium mesquites and junipers were easily pulled up by their roots. Of course it helped that I waited until after a rain that softened the ground. I recommend this attachment!

So far mainly used on cedars and the desing on the grubber allows it to dig under the roots and lift them out of the ground with most all of the root ball. Like any ground work I waited a couple of days after a 3 inch rain and they grubbed easily and didn't leave as big a hole as using the skid steer bucket.

I am writing this review for my husband - he loves this attachment. It pulls good-sized sampling mesquite up with a 4-5 foot taproot. He can't wait to have time to go to the pasture and work with this implement. I would have heard if he didn't think it was strong enough for the job. Highly recommend.
